Chilean Superintendence of Securities and Insurance (SVS) and the Association
of Latin American Insurance Supervisors (ASSAL), with a support and collaboration
of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and Organization
of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), is pleased to invite you
to participate in the
which will be held in Santiago, on 19-22 of April 2010.
This meeting is divided in nine panels covering different important topics
in the field of regulation and supervision of insurance market, such as
suitability of persons, corporate governance, group-wide supervision,
market analysis, solvency II, consumer protection, risk assessment and
management, internal control and capital adequacy and solvency, among
the others. Additionally, these panels will be complemented with practical
case studies presented by the IAIS Secretariat and NAIC.
It should be stressed out that the activities will include presentations
of the representatives of the most important global and regional institutions
in insurance regulation and supervision, such as NAIC, OECD, IAIS, CEIOPS,
OSFI, which will analyze best practices in said sector and their future
perspectives.
